How do I find articles from academic journals?

Some databases allow you to restrict your search to academic journals (as opposed to newspapers, popular magazines & trade journals).  

For example, if you use Academic Search Premier to search for articles, you can use the checkbox for "Scholarly (Peer Reviewed) Journals" to ensure that the results of your search will all be from academic journals.
